Mon., Aug. 29 Forum in Rhinecliff on the anchorages

Dutchess County Legislator Joel Tyner will be holding a forum in Rhinecliff on the threat posed by the Coast Guard’s plan to establish anchorages for fracked crude barges near Rhinecliff and up and down the Hudson River.

This will be the second forum sponsored by Tyner in Rhinebeck.   The first took place at Rhinebeck Town Hall on August 10.  John Lipscomb, Boat Captain of Riverkeeper, Andy Bicking, Director of Public Policy at Scenic Hudson, and Rhinecliff-based artist Carolyn Marks Blackwood gave presentations, followed by a Q-and-A with the public.  (Video here.)
